Barcelona-El Prat Airport
Departures
Barcelona-El Prat airport has two large terminal buildings: T1 and T2. Barcelona Airport follows the criteria of terminal use by company, regardless of the destination or origin of the flight, so flights may depart from either of the two terminals.
Upon arrival at the airport, the passenger must go to the terminal out of which the airline he/she is flying operates. There they will check in their luggage and obtain their boarding pass. The T1 check-in desks are situated in the hall on P3. The Barcelona-Madrid Air Shuttle has its own space in the north dock of T1. For its part, T2 is divided into three check-in areas: A, B and C. We recommend that you check in with sufficient time in advance in order to avoid unforeseen problems.
> Where do I have to check in?
The boarding pass should indicate the gate for boarding the aircraft. If not, it should indicate the boarding zone or module. T1 has five boarding zones, A, B, C, D and E. T2 has six boarding zones, M-0, M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4 y M-5, which can be accessed via the boulevard for the exclusive use of passengers reached after passing through the security checkpoints.
