- T3, Malaga's new gateway to the world, by Josefa Villalobos. Malaga airport has opened a new terminal which doubles operating capacity to 9,000 passengers per hour and makes it a benchmark among the Mediterranean tourist airports. Surrounded by a glass wall that encircles it like a skin, T3 includes 86 check-in desks, 20 boarding gates, 12 baggage reclaim carousels and a modern automated baggage handling system with special width for golf clubs that can handle 7,500 pieces of luggage per hour.
- Madrid aviation turns 100, by Antonio González-Betes. Every region needs celebrations to pay homage to the people who made history. On this occasion, they are the Uruguayan entrepreneur and pilot, Mario García Cames, the French aviator, Julien Mamet onboard a Blériot XI and the people of Madrid who play the leading role in the first flight made in the capital of Spain. It was on 23 March 1910 in the newly built Ciudad Lineal district.
- The first Spanish women aviators, by Lluis Corominas. The history of aviation is mostly filled with the names of men, but there has also been space for a group of brave and daring women who, right from the start, wanted to feel for themselves what it was like to fly. Women such as María Bernaldo de Quirós y Bustillo, Margot Soriano, Elena Sáez, Mari Pepa Colomer and Dolors Vives are among that group of pioneers who have written their names on the first pages of Spanish aviation.
- The aeronautical sector is working on achieving a greener sky, by Laura Ordóñez. Air transport pollutes our skies. An unavoidable reality that, for some years now, the following groups have been trying to alleviate from different fronts: international organisations, airlines, airports and aircraft manufacturers. They have all implemented measures to reduce CO2 emissions, from “ecological landing” to buying and selling emission rights and the modernisation of their fleets by the airlines.
- CajaGranada Cultural Centre. Art for Andalusian identity, by Arantxa Noriega. The idea was to make the most beautiful possible building at the service of culture and the Memory of Andalusia, and it has been turned into reality. The Memoria de Andalucía museum in Granada, as its creator, the architect Alberto Campo Baeza calls it, has become “a powerful sphinx", soaked in history, which plays homage to a people, the Andalusian people.
- Interview with Borja-Villel, director of the Reina Sofía Museum: “More favourable tax regulations would mean that investment in art would increase”, by Cristina Garrido.
- Modern Art Museums in Spain. A (changing) state of affairs, by José Guirao Cabeza.
- Interview with Jaume Plensa: “In sculpture, form is not enough, there must be a soul”, by Félix Santos.
